This is a unique opportunity to provide highly personalized care in a private setting while earning a starting salary of $30–$35/hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medication as directed by the doctor’s orders.
• Drive the patient to all medical and social appointments.
• Communicate and provide updates to family members regarding the patient’s status.
• Monitor vital signs and provide regular reports to the family and other CNAs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and other daily personal care routines.
• Support the patient with physical activities, including lifting when necessary.
• Live-in care required for 3.5 days each week to ensure continuity in care.

Requirements

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a private CNA, with stellar references.
• Previous experience caring for cancer patients is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with the family and other care staff.
• Ability to live in and provide care for extended periods (3.5 days weekly).
